Seems to me like we just found out what Obama’s price is.

What a phony.

Different kind of politician ? Yah right…..

So what exactly is the appeal of an unaccomplished politician, liar and sellout ?

I am organizing an event in my college on behalf of the finance club of my college. So, i wanted to know what sort of games i could organize. e.g. Virtual stock market where the participants buy shares with virtual money and i will give out news about the companies which would affect the stock values. They would be then allowed to trade. The objective is to maximize the profits.
Please suggest such games related to finance. Is any website available for such games?

I’m a finance major at a 4 year university and I’ve been trying to learn as much as possible about the news and investing. I’ve decided to buy a news publication and I was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions between the Wall Street Journal and Bloomberg news? I’ve narrowed it down to these 2 but I know I wont have time to read both so I was hoping maybe someone could tell me which one they find most useful and interesting to read. Thank you for your help!

If you watch t.v. news, what is your most favourite portion or what do you consider most important of the 6 o’clock news (or whatever time you watch your news)?

A) – Current events and live coverages (locally & internationally)
B) – Health & Medicine (i.e. latest in cancer research, drug-related research, hospital matters, etc.)
C) – Entertainment & Fashion (i.e. movies, music, t.v. show reviews, celebrity, etc.)
D) – Politics and government proceedings (this would include socio-political debates as well).
E) – Social debates (where viewers can poll-in or call to provide their opinions on a news topic).
F) – Finance and Marketing (i.e. stocks)
G) – Electronics & Gadgets (video-game reviews, games, etc.)
H) – Fitness & Nutrition (this does NOT incorporate the health and medicine field. Think yoga & the food industry.)
I) – Traffic reports
J) – Weather reports
K) – other?

You can pick more than one…

I like yahoo finance, but I find it works best from day to day and I need more in the way of week-to-week candlestick periods. Stockcharts.com does have these periods, but I don’t like their graphs very much. What other options do I have?

Free or inexpensive and weekly candlestick periods are my only specifications. I can always still get other technicals and oscillators, news, etc. on yahoo finance or other sources. Thanks for your help!

I co-host a local radio program every Saturday morning. The show is about investing, finances, retirement and wealth planning, etc.

I have a source for information that comes out every Monday, but that news is outdated by the end of the week.

I’m looking for something has has just news-bites… two-three-four sentences long. Sources would be great as well.

I don’t want links to CNN Money, Yahoo Finance, etc. Those will give you thumbs-down. I need a site (even if it requires a subscription) to give a listing of news, aka “The Week in Review.”
